How to tune your Banjo
- Click Start Tuning above and allow microphone access.
- Play one string (or note) at a time, close to the microphone.
- The tuner shows the nearest target note and how many cents you are off.
- Tighten to raise the pitch, loosen to lower it, until the display turns green.
Need a different tuning? Use the tuning selector above the display — every preset is free. You can also lock any note by clicking it, which is handy when a string is far from its target.
